How to Play Chess in Kumospace

For all the Chess enthusiasts out there, we’ve got you covered. Here's a quick guide to setting up a Chess board and playing Chess in Kumospace.

To add a Chess board to your space:

1. Open the Edit menu by clicking on the chair icon in the upper right corner or pressing E on your keyboard.
2. Choose the Activities dropdown and select the Chess board.
3. Click on where you'd like to place it in your Kumospace.
4. Close your Edit menu and you’re ready to play!

1. Click on the Chess board in your Kumospace.

2. Select your preferred Game Mode from the dropdown from the following options:

   • Play against someone in the room

     *Both players need to be on the same floor and click on the chess board to begin

   • Play against a random player online

   • Play against the computer

   • Solve chess puzzles

3. Click Start, and then click the New Game button to begin playing.
